HISTORY OF RANCH STALLIONS

THE DREAM MAKER:  A 1986 Stallion by Jetatres out of the solid black AQHA  Dam Go Go Bo.  Dream Maker earned 408 APHA Halter Points, 83 Grands, 39 Reserve Grands, & top 10 World, APHA Honor Role, and too many High Pt's to mention.  Cal Collier and I shared a love affair for this Stallion.  Cal brought Dream Maker to me, and $90k later we were off on a adventure.  I lost both Dream Maker and an own daughter "A Midnight Dream" my personal horse in a unthinkable and unconscionable way....but life happens.  Dream Maker died avoidably and out of my hands way before his time.  All Dream Maker foals were Bay.  If bred to a Black mare the foals would be Buckskin usually.  Dream Maker had a lot of Thoroughbred in his blood.  His great, great, great Grandsire won the Kentucky around 1937.  Some Dream Maker foals were over achievers i.e., Our Cover Girl, Dream About Me, Simply Dreamin, CCR Dreamboatannie,  For a long time the Dream Maker image was the symbol used for the APHA Breeders Trust.  Dream Maker had a huge following.  A beautiful horse to just look at...
